As we are mid-point in the summer, I realize that school will be starting in one month. My son will be a senior and his football season is only weeks away. My daughter is going to start her first year as a high school student. I remember bringing him to his first football practice in grade school. I remember bringing him to Soldier Field to see his first Bears game. Go Bears! My daughter and I would have wonderful talks on the way to school. We would talk about the leaves turning color or the new fallen snow. Those are memory treasures.
During this weekend, I had a wonderful time with family and friends. The memories are my new found treasures.
Will you choose to slow down long enough to create the memory treasures that will last a lifetime.
