Effective 7/1/25, KP Counseling will be transitioning to a new legal entity and doing business under a slightly different name.

New Legal Entity Name: Optum Behavioral Care Therapy Services of Illinois, P.C.
Former Business Name: KP Counseling
New Business Name: KP Counseling of Illinois

What Does This Mean for You?

• Continuity of Care: Your care will continue seamlessly with the same dedicated team of healthcare professionals. There will be no changes to the services you receive.
• Billing and Insurance: Our new legal entity name will be reflected on billing statements and insurance claims. You may experience some delays in receiving bills if there are any delays on the insurance side enrolling our providers under the name.
• Communication: You may notice our updated names on all signage and future communications, including appointment reminders, emails, and patient portals.
