Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor | CADC, LCPC
Matt joined KP counseling in April 2017. He is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and a certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC). Matt helped provide hope and restoration to children, adolescents, young adults, and families at a local inpatient facility and community mental health agency for five years prior to join the KP team. He has worked with a wide array of issues, such as addiction, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief/loss, defiant behaviors, anger management, difficult life transitions, and family dysfunction.
Matt completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Northern Illinois University and his Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at Eastern Illinois University. He believes in taking a strength-based approach when working with others, and empowering them to reach their full potential.
When Matt is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, family, and friends. He loves adventures, listening to live music, and snowboarding; but will also settle for a quiet night, hot cup of coffee, and a good book.
