Kemper Schroff

Kemper joined KP Counseling in 2020. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, (LCPC) and is certified as a Level 1 Theraplay play therapist.

Kemper was born and raised in the Rockford area and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development from Rockford University. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX.

Kemper works with children and adults ranging from three years old to adult. She has experience working with family issues, anxiety related issues, substance use, grief, trauma, depression, and child behavior issues, and parent-child issues. Kemper utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities, including play therapy, art therapy, and animal assisted therapy with her certified therapy dog, Tucker.

Kemper has a passion to help others create and sustain a fulfilling purposeful life and works to help them learn to own their story and love themselves.

Outside of work, Kemper loves spending time with her family and friends, playing games, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors with her two dogs.
