Kemper Schroff, LCPC

Kemper joined KP Counseling in 2020. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, (LPC) and is certified as a Level 1 Theraplay play therapist.

Kemper was born and raised in the Rockford area and received her undergraduate BA degree in Human Development from Rockford University. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX.

Kemper has served children and adults ranging from ages five to 65+. She has experience working with substance abuse, grief, trauma, mental health, and family issues with youth and adults in a variety of settings including non-profit, community-based, and residential settings. Kemper is also experienced in crisis management and de-escalation strategies. Kemper has a passion to help others create and sustain a fulfilling life and works to help them learn to own their story and love themselves.

Outside of work, Kemper loves spending time with her family, friends and significant other, trying new restaurants, playing games, traveling and being outdoors with her two dogs.
