Charlotte joined KP Counseling in February 2021. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) a certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC), a problem and compulsive gambling counselor (PCGC), with an adolescent treatment endorsement (ATE), and is a national board-certified counselor (NCC).
Charlotte has 17 years of working with adolescents, adults, children, and families in a variety of settings, including residential, outpatient, and recovery homes. She specializes in working with children, adolescence, adults with experience in addressing anxiety, depression, life transitions, personality disorders, substance abuse, parent-child relational issues, process addiction, low self-esteem, anger management, domestic violence, trauma, and LGBTQ related issues.
Charlotte earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Northern Illinois University and went on to complete her Master’s Degree at National-Louis University. She uses a strength-based approach with cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectal-behavioral therapy, client-centered approach, and believes in helping people accomplish their own personal goals.
When not in the office, Charlotte she enjoys spending time with her family, watching Marvel movies with her kids, cooking and baking, going on bike rides and leisure walks with her little dog, Walter.
