About Gail:

Gail Logemann Gail Logemann is a Rockford native. She has a masters degree in Applied Family and Child Studies, with a specialty in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and is a certified Equine-Assisted Psychotherapist (EAP). Gail joined kp counseling in the spring of 2002.

Gail’s specialty areas include remarriage and step-family issues, individual and couples therapy, relationship coaching, and women’s issues. In addition to her training and certification in EAP, Gail has had training in CoParenting (for court-ordered P.A.C.T. for divorcing parents), trained for School Crisis Assistance Team, CLAYtherapy, and relationship coaching and has attended numerous seminars and workshops in areas of clinical interest. Prior to joining kp counseling, Gail was a Wisconsin state certified police officer and EMT and a volunteer firefighter. She had a private therapy practice in Sycamore and worked as a counselor in the CHANCE Program at NIU. She also taught undergraduate courses for the Department of Family, Consumer, and Nutrition Sciences at NIU for three years.

Gail is a member of Heartland Community Church, where she has volunteered in their youth ministry and bookstore. She has served in the singles community in the greater Rockford area, and volunteers as a Big Sister in the Big Brother/Big Sister Program and enjoys a rewarding relationship with her “little sister.”

Gail enjoys cooking, reading, canoeing, and campfires. She has an adult son who lives and works in the Madison, Wisconsin area.
